A. Ecuadorean grown roses are internationally accepted as being of superior quality compared with roses from anywhere else in the world. There are a number of reasons for this; they are planted at the foot of snowcapped volcanoes that rise to more than 20,000 feet, where the volcanic soil contains a perfect mix of minerals while the high altitudes and its position on the Equator result in a combination of almost perfect climate and sunlight conditions for growing the highest quality roses found anywhere in the world.
Q. Is there a relationship between the size of the bloom and the stem length? A. YES, there is a direct connection between the size of the bloom and the stem length. The size of the bloom also depends on its variety and color. Remember that the medium size heads on Ecuadorian roses are usually considered large for roses from other sources. The length of the stem needed usually depends on the arrangement it will be used in and one of the traditional 18", 20", 24" and 28¿ lengths we offer are perfect for any floral arrangement. The vase life depends entirely on proper hydration and the strength of the stem.
Q. Do your prices include shipping?

Q. Can I combine different varieties of roses in the same order? How does this affect the price? A. Yes, You can specify a different variety for each bunch of 25 roses to be included in a box. The prices remain the same as long as you don¿t change the stem length or the number of bunches in the box.
Q. Where do you ship to? A. We ship to anywhere in the United States, including Alaska & Hawaii. No deliveries are available to destinations in Canada or Puerto Rico.
Q. Do I need to be at the delivery address to receive my roses? A. Our orders normally require a signature when they are delivered so usually someone should be there to sign for the package when it arrives. If a signature waiver is used, some of the claims rights may be voided. Please have someone sign for your package.
Q. Do the roses get shipped with water? A. Because the shipping is by air when you purchase directly from farms or growers, it is normally not possible for the roses to be shipped with water. Before leaving the farm the roses are hydrated and conditioned using a special process to maintain the water inside the stem and then they are kept to a temperature approaching 32 degrees Fahrenheit during shipment. This has never caused any problems. Since you would be receiving roses you will have to do the hydrating, cutting, stripping and all the normal preparation just like a florist only you save the money the florist would charge for this (about double their cost for the roses).
Q. Should I put the roses in the refrigerator? A. We don¿t recommend heavy refrigeration for fresh cut roses. They can be placed in a regular refrigerator but not in walk in coolers since the temperature is too cold and may freeze them. The best way is to keep them in cold water in a room at 65 to 70 degrees.
Q. Why are our rose prices so low? A. We can sell such high quality roses at such a low price because we have completely eliminated the middle men. In most cases, large importers would buy the roses from the farms and then sell them to wholesalers. These would then sell them to smaller florists who would sell them to you. This way each time the roses change hands more profit is added to the price. With JustFreshRoses.com, you don¿t have to pay all of that extra profit!
Q. What is the price structure? Are there any hidden costs? A. Our prices vary according to the stem length and the number of bunches in the box. Some seasonal variation may also occur but no other charges apply. If you need to cancel your order you most do so up to 24 hours before the scheduled shipping date otherwise we won¿t be able to refund your payment.
Q. How can I track my order/see if my order was delivered? A. After you place your order, you will receive an email confirming that the roses have been shipped. This email will include a FedEx tracking number you can use to check on your order with FedEx.com. Please remember that the normal delivery hours depend on your local FedEx office. You can track the order at www.FedEx.com or call to 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339
